KCL Neurosurgery Society

About Us
King’s College London Neurosurgical Society aims to promote the surgical sub-specialty of neurosurgery through the provision of relevant events for students and staff interested in the field.
These events consist of lectures, career advice, neurosurgical observation opportunities, OSCE skills workshops, networking initiatives and more.

Our Streams
Our newly-launched 5 streams allows all neurosurgery, neurology and neuroscience enthusiasts to keep up-to-date with our society.
The Committee

President

President

Imogen Stables
Vice President

Tasneem Saumtally
Secretary
The typical role of secretary is geared towards general logistics for the society such as handling room bookings, taking minutes during meetings, and keeping an eye on the emails. While this is what I do, it is not where the bulk of my time is spent. Rather, researching and writing the fortnightly newsletter is where more of my efforts are focused.

Malaika Jindal
Treasurer
As treasurer, I balance the books for the KCL neurosurgery society. I process and pay invoices on behalf of the committee members and arrange reimbursements. In addition, I liaise with external organisations to secure sponsorships and grants to finance the society’s events.

Harry Senior
Hi, I am Harry (Year 2 Medic) and we are the events/charity officers this year! We are working towards several events throughout the year including Instagram CBD Sessions as well as a Women in Neurosurgery talk. A large part of our role is also to organise events to help fundraise for our chosen charity, Zellweger UK.
